At Le Gantt, we are committed to building tools that respect your privacy. Our Trello Power-Up is stateless, and our Basecamp integration stores only the scheduling details Basecamp itself cannot hold—nothing more.
1. The Data We Handle
Trello
Legantt does not store, collect, or have access to:
- Your Trello card content, descriptions, or attachments.
- Your Trello member names, emails, or profile data.
- Your Trello Board or Organization IDs.
All processing of Trello data happens locally in your browser or via secure, temporary transit; nothing is saved on our servers.
Basecamp
For Basecamp, Le Gantt reads your to-do dates, titles, assignees, and completion status through Basecamp's authorized access, and writes start and end dates back so they stay in sync. We do not store your Basecamp to-do content, member details, or account data on our servers.
Scheduling extras that Basecamp has no concept of—dependencies, milestone flags, progress, and baselines—are saved by Le Gantt solely to draw your chart. This data is never sold or shared, and your Basecamp to-dos and saved scheduling data are never deleted if your subscription lapses.
2. Anonymous Analytics
To help us improve the Power-Up, we use analytics to collect anonymous usage metrics.
- What we track: General interactions, such as opening the Power-Up or clicking a specific feature button.
- What we DON'T track: We do not send Trello card titles, member names, or any identifiable data to analytics.
- Purpose: This data is used solely to understand feature popularity and to troubleshoot technical errors.
3. Third-Party Services
We do not sell or share any data with third parties. Aside from the anonymous event tracking via analytics, no other third-party services are utilized by this Power-Up.
4. Security
Even though we don't store your data, we ensure all communication between your browser and our hosting provider (Netlify) is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS (SSL) and strict security headers.
